Friendly, can be very busy and dealing with the public on a day to day basis can get wearing - thankfully there are places to hide in the stockroom.

Argos seemed to me to be an employer that employs to fill vacant spaces regardless of abilities and once recruited into roles staff seem to be given no or little further training to develop themselves. Jobs seem unsecure here I left Argos as they axed the role I was in, giving me a choice of redundancy or to reapply for a new role which was basically the same job but less money. Since I have left this has happened to a number of ex colleagues of mine and currently one of my friends is uncertain how long she will remain in her role due to the same circumstances. she has worked for them for well over ten years! On the plus side in all the branches I worked in, there was always a strong sense of team spirit and teamwork although they were always feeling the strain of a high work load as the branches were more than often understaffed.
